Non G35 Spoilers ???
Hey Everyone,
Am I the only one here who is frustrated with the lack of body parts for our cars? For example, when you go over to the my350z site you can see at least 20 different types of body kits. For our cars, we only have maybe 7.
When I first purchased my car 5 months ago, I decided against getting the stock wing. I does look nice but I feel an aftermarket spoiler can potentially make your car really stand out from the crowd. 5 months later, no after market spoiler has caught my attention. I dont want the little lip spoilers such as the gialla or the huge veilside one.
So recently I have been thinking about maybe I should look into some universal wings, like the ones wingswest puts out.
I remembered that i used to like a particular wing that people used to put on preludes and i actually saw one on an accord yesterday.
Let me know what you guys think of this 'mugen" type spoiler on the g35 coupe. It looks like a sharper, a more square version of the OEM wing.
For now this is just an idea. Can anyone also comment on the fitment or other possible problems. Can I find body shops to shave it to make it fit???
thanks in advance for your input

If there was a demand for the product, it would be made. Infiniti is supposed to be "upscale" not a rice rocket. (my opinion)

i agree with the demand part. most people who buy the g35 coupe are over 30. i can see why some older people will be turned off by more extreme body parts.
but to say that we dont have some pretty wild wings already produced is incorrect. how are you going to tell me that the veilside wing is not as "ricey" as a mugen prelude wing that has a similar feel to the stock coupe spoiler.
for all the others, please look past the prelude the wing is on. some of you might find the prelude too ricey but everyone has to remember how this IMPORT scene all started. It started in San Gabriel Valley, CA (626) where a bunch of guys in HONDAS were trying to making thier cars look a little different, and squeezing the most out of them. You might think it is tacky now but this is how it all began. Trust me , I was there.

Wings West or C West sells a universal wing (Drifter, Drift Style or something like that) that seems to fit the bill. I always liked that style over the high-mount aluminum wings too. But the OEM style wing will do fo me. I plan to stand apart from the crowd in other ways.
