Clearbra prices you've paid? (SOCAL dealers good!)

Hey guys,

I'm curious as to which clearbra options are necessary... and how much they run... I am waiting for a quote from elitecoating in IRVINE (location in SOCAL) right now... just want to get an idea from the people.

Thanks

Dennis,
I am located in SoCal (Orange County). I just had the Xpel clear bra installed by Ultimate Auto Care last Saturday. Paid $585 total and that was for the hood, front bumper, quarter panels, headlights and side mirrors. You can also have the rear bumper and doors done for an additional charge but I passed on that.

Thanks for the responses guys! That OC place sounds like a good deal--how long would they take ? Pretty much wondering how long my baby would be away from me haha

OOoh same day action--NICE!

All right, sounds like I'm going to have to save up for the clearbra--just am scared of the yellowing aspect--is it caused by the owner's faults? Or is it just something that is an attribute of these carbras?

What about a Group buy? If we get enough people here in Socal, I'm sure Ultimate Auto Care wont mind hooking it up. I'm still waiting for the owner to email me some pix of G's that they worked on. I know MIke's Pearl sedan is one of them He also guaranteed me that Xpel film that they use is not as cheap as the other ones..but, who knows..

fXg35rIdA ,
Just emailed you back bro!!
Regarding the question about the time frame for the clear bra installation, it was about 3-4 hours for them to finish the work. I've heard stories of some clear bras yellowing over time and I hope that's not the case with mine because it will definitely show on Ivory Pearl color. Xpel backs their clear bras with a 4 year warranty so I'm not too worried....knock on wood I was told to wash and wax the clear bra just like you would the rest of the car and that's about it for any type of care/maintenance required.
