Cadillac Escalade

I started doing a customer's Cadillac Escalade this morning and got about half way through. It's an 08, but nonetheless in pretty rough shape. I put 9 hours into it today with probably the same amount slated for tomorrow. Here are some pics from the progress so far.

The difference - untouched on the left with one pass on the right.

More pics will come tomorrow when I am completely finished.

That's a big vehicle! Are you using Migliore as your LSP, Shane?

No kidding Don, it's certainly the largest vehicle I've detailed. The owner of this Escalade wants me to detail his 43' Coach in the spring.....that will certainly be a first.

I'll be posting pics once I've finished and got your Migliore applied.......it's gonna look sweet!

Wow GC...please tell me you have convinced this owner to stop taking his ride to automatic car washes. Those swirls are amazing! What polish are you using?

I used Intensive Polish with an orange pad and then 0106FF with a white pad.

A few after pictures. It would of been nice to take some pictures outside in better light, but it was snowing.

No kidding Deane. It's certainly a large vehicle to detail. It took a little over 15 hours to do.

Looks really nice Shane.

I'm going to try and detail some cars this summer myself. Its just hard to find people who are willing to spend money on full-details. Most don't really care how their cars look.

Thanks. Yeah, not everyone is willing to shell out $300-$400 getting their vehicle detailed. I'd say about 95% of my customers have more expensive vehicles and have the money to spend on getting their car detailed. I personally don't advertise whatsoever, I just let word of mouth and the quality of my work advertise for me. Go for it this summer and start detailing on the side, I've had a blast with my detailing business.
