Ah my baby is getting clear bra'd as we speak right now - im nervous lol. Tom from SE-EX.com (secondary exposure) is doing it for me...ill let you know how it comes out i will post pics later - im only doing the "impact zones" for now. Tom and the dealership told me that is "more then enough on the coupe" we shall see - if me no likey ill get the full kit done soon. To be continued with pics....

Let us know how it turns out. What kind of clear bra is being installed, i.e. 3M, Venture Tape, etc.?

 

i got the 3M done. I only got the "Impact Zones" which are 6" strips across the rear and front bumper. They were cheap and fit into my budget plus i figured "the car's leased, this 6" strip is better then nothing"
The turn out was really great - in the front u DONT SEE IT AT ALL! the rear bumper u see the seam going across the middle of the bumper because the tape covers the bottom 6 inches of the bumper - if u stand like 1 ft away from the bumper u dont see the seam at all any closer then that u see it but its still better then having a scratch i guess...ill try to get pics up tonite - damn rain sucks lol

I little confused here. You had them put just a 6 inch tall piece on the bumpers? not the whole thing or the hood?

I am guessing this is for the parallel park by feel damage?

yea basically its for parrallel parking idiots - i left my digi cam at work today and i forgot to snap pics ill try to get them up tomorrow - the dealer and the installer recommended that i do just these 6" strips as oppposed to the full kit basically for money reasons and pracitcality - im kinda kicking myself for not doing hte full bra but whatever - it was my dads idea so watever i can always rip it off and install the full kit - ill get those pics up tonite (if i can swing by work and pick up the digi) or tomorrow the latest!

and its really not for me parking like an idiot cuz a: im a really good parallel parker and B: i wont park if the spot i too small - its really for the other morons out there - if in time i get annoyed ill switch it
