Bird S**T Stain

Bird S**T Stain
I know this has been discussed before, but here is my situation. I returned to my car today only to discover a bird crap circle. This was no ordinanry pile, it was pretty much orange colored! I wiped it off asap but there is a noticable stain in the clear coat. It looks like an orane opaque area. Pretty much in 2 small circles. I tried wax & cleaning clothes but it is still visable.
What should I try next? I'm not that experienced in rubbing compounds so I will probably have to take it to a pro. Is there something I can try first?
Will a clay bar work on such a small area?
I have a DG paint job so it is very visable.
Thanks for any help.

PS.. I bought the dealers 5 years paint protection (a scam, i know) but do you think I can trust them with the repair job?

Re: Bird S**T Stain
Try clay.........make sure to lubricate and not rub too hard (despite how the label's say it's "clearcoat safe") as it could create scratches on the clearcoat............ If this doesn't work, then the bird dropping already baked and etched into the paint. At this point, there's really nothing much you could do.

I agree with trying the clay bar first. you'd be amazed by how good that thing is at removing unwanted stuff from your paint.
if clay doesn't work, you'll need to use a "solvent" like cleaner, like the ones for removing bugs & tar. Try to find one that is safe for the clear coat and always remember to re-wax afterwards
