Mysterious and Powerful Stain!!! Help!

I've got this nasty little orangish stain on the trunk of my car towards the edge. It's appeared out of nowhere. I cannot get it out.

I've used the following:
Dawn (with warm and hot water)
Clay Bar
91% Isopropyl Alcohol
Stoners Tarminator

Nothing. Now i've got a stain with a hazy area around it because i was elbow-greasing it with a towel. (Nothing a lil wax won't help but still not happy about it)

I'm effed guys. I'm thinking the only options i've got now are to take it in to have it looked at. Wonder if it's bird-poo. If it is, i know i'm effed royal.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guyz.

can you take some pics & post em here? If it is orange, then it could possibly be tree sap. Bird poo can eat into paint, but doesn't turn into that orangish color you are seeing.

Re: Mysterious and Powerful Stain!!! Help!

Not true. I had a bird drop a load on my car just above the front wheel on the fender. I didn't see it for hours & it turned a bright orange. I tried wax spray & mild cleaners. Nothing worked.
The good news is it has since faded & is barely noticeable now. The fact that I had a good wax layer prior helped.
I did post my experience a few months ago. Do a search.

I had the same thing on my hood. I noticed it after driving on the highway. I think it was some bug splatter. It was hard to remove but finally after a few washes and waxes it disappeared.

I have the same thing. It wasn't tree sap, I was thinking it's bird poop or insect poop.

I tried washing, rewashing, Turtle Wax bug & tar remover (spray, original, & super formulas). Nothing worked.

My battle is detailed here:

If anyone can find out what this is and how to get it off (for certain) there are going to be a lot of really appreciative people.
