2 Questions about Auto Care
2 Questions about Auto Care
First I use the "absorber" skin to dry my car, It sucks up the water and never leaves anything behind, and I was wondering if those shamys were harmfull to the paint, or just not advisable to use.
Secondly I'm looking for good interior cleaning products, especially for the leather, and car doors (around the speakers) people seem to scuff the door with their shoes getting out of the car. Its the willow leather interior, if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the info in advance.

Re: 2 Questions about Auto Care
the absorber is a good product. but if you want to be really kind to your paint you should pick up a waffleweave microfiber. the difference is if there are small debre the microfiber will pick it up in its pores, while the absorber may pin the small dirt particle into the paint and cause a scratch. I'd only worry about this if your car is black or midnight blue.
As far as cleaning/conditioning leather/vinyl, I would use Lexol cleaner/conditioner for leather. Another good product is Mothers leather cleaner/conditioner.For the plastic areas I use Vinex,Mothers Vinly cleaner or Meguiars Vinyl cleaner. I would not recommend ArmorAll.

Re: 2 Questions about Auto Care
On my other car, (which has a similar color interior to willow), I used Vinylex on the door panels. (Made by Lexol). It removed (or at least hid), most of the scuffs on the door panel, from peoples shoes. Though, they weren't scratch kind of scuffs, I think they were more rubber from the sole's of people's shoes. I use Vinylex on the dash and stuff too.
Re: 2 Questions about Auto Care
Everything recommended above are great products to use on the car. Chamois will not harm the paint of your car.........just dry it w/ either chamois / absorber and then follow it up w/ a microfiber for the finish.
