yea i need my stuff to laaaaaassssttt..im in it for the long haul !

 

i use some stuff my friend gave me it was in a blue bottle. Stuff was grey or blue. Work pretty damn good didnt know the name of it.

I just buffed mine with paint buff, worked like a charm.

 

i brought my today and it turn out GREAT!!! made my g look like sex!

 

the wax stuff will eventually wear off though. if you wet sand them depending on the severity of haze and end with 2000 grit then clear coat them the clear will fill the scratches and clear them AND never go hazy again!

 

i just bought the 06+ lights....much better choice

Unfortunately, that brillo pad probably caused permanent damage to your headlights. There is a thin clearcoat on them, and that brillo pad most likely went straight through it.

The clearcoat has the UV protection, and without that, the headlights are just gonna haze up in a couple months. You need to get it re-cleared or get new headlights (06)

 

Are you sure they have clear coats on them? I think it's just clear plastics. And nothing more.

Unbelievable, using a Brillo pad on plastic....are you retarded or just very slow? Did you use the same Brillo pad to get the bird **** off your hood....you need to be Next time you decide to mess with your G35 try doing a SEARCH so you get it right, no matter what it may be! It's a very good idea to never use household products on your automobile....never.

ok so i went to autozone and bought the Turtle wax lens restoration kit for 10 bucks.
one of my headlights is brand new and the other is 5 years old and was a little hazed. so i said wow it is like two different socks and got to work. the kit i used instructed wet sanding with 4 different grits, and finally a polisher. after one cycle of this i buffed on the polisher and to my suprise, my headlights looked WORSE than they had when i started. i repeated the process and the hazed headlight remained the same. i am really angry at this and im wondering the best product or method used to remove this haze.!!
