I got a call from a local tint shop because I has emailed them about Huper Optik tinting. They told me that Huper Optik is impossible to apply to the rear window and that any shop that says they can is lying. Anybody have proof otherwise.

That's actually really telling of their experience w/ tinting. I've tinted Huper film before and it is very possible to tint the film despite what they told you. I do have to admit though, the film is nearly twice as thick as conventional automotive tint, which makes it much more difficult to heat shrink. In addition, the heat shrinking method is very different from shrinking automotive film.
