I don't know much about water spots, but I've used vinegar on lots of stuff and you'd be amazed what it can do. I can tell you Zaino makes the best car care products I've ever used. I do all of my work by hand and my car looks amazing. Here's my process:
1. Claybar if necessary.
2. Base coat of ZAIO
3. ZCS to seal in ZAIO
4. Meguiars Gold Class Wax
5. Final coat of ZCS to finish.

The best part is Zaino Leather in a Bottle for the interior. It contains leather oil, and my car smells brand new inside. It gets better as the weather gets hotter. The LIB is addictive. I find myself wanting to apply it every 2 weeks just for the smell It also has UV protectants so I use it on the dash and all interior plastics as well as the leather.

You can go even more detailed on the exterior with Z2 and Z5 on top of the ZAIO, but I really don't find it necessary on my car. The best thing about the ZCS is you wipe it on and just leave it alone. It's amazing and the shine lasts up to 6 or 7 months.

I'm sure I could use a better wax but with the ZCS top coat the Meguiars looks great.

And last thing, if you have never used Optimum No Rinse to wash your car, you should try it. It's the most amazing wash I've ever used. It takes me 4 gallons of water total in 2 buckets: 1 to wash and 1 to rinse the towel. I live in an apartment with a no wash policy, but would use ONR even I lived in a house.

Hope this helps and no, I'm not a Zaino rep. Just a very satisfied customer.

I have used Zaino for a couple if years now. I do the following for a good detailing job:

1) rinse the car as best as you can. power wash if possible to get stuck on dirt, grit, etc off

1b) drink a beer

2) wash the car with dawn dish detergent (the blue kind). this will help to remove any of the older wax/polish you had on your car.

2b) drink beer

3) run your wet hand over the still wet car to see if you feel any grit on it.

4) if the you feel any grit or dirt, wash it again.

5) while wet, claybar the car using a mixture of water and carwash shampoo

5b) drink beer)

6) rinse off and make sure you didnt miss anything.

7) wash again using your favorite carwash shampoo/soap

8) dry car with soft towel. get air cans to blow water out of crevices such as your mirrors.

9) apply your swirl remover if you have swirl marks (Z5)

9b) drink 2 beers to allow it to dry
9c) clean the dash board and other surfaces

10) buff

10b) drink beer

11) apply your polish (Z2, or Z AIO)

11b) drink 2 beers to allow it to dry
11c) clean leather seats and apply leather conditioner

12) buff

12b) drink beer

13) apply your liquid polish (Z6 or Z8)

14) apply another coat of polish if you desire

15) apply Clear seal (Z-CS)

16) apply tire dressing

17) stand back 10 feet and admire your work while finishing off your beers

18) puke, drink lots of water, go take a nap

Clay bar is....really little to no work...get clay...soften in hands, lube, rub lightly. Done.
The only zanio product I've ever used is their sealant/polish and it was/is awesome.
