Mr. Clean Is Now My Client
Mr. Clean Is Now My Client
Good news fellas. I work at a consulting firm in NYC who represent Mr. Clean Auto Dry. This past week, I was just assigned to work on the account. I can give everyone the inside scoop on Mr. Clean and any new developments. I haven't gotten familiar with the client yet, but from what I've been told there is a new and improved Mr. Clean coming... I'll keep you posted on anything new...

Re: Mr. Clean Is Now My Client
Who's 'Mr. Clean' owned by? Johnson Wax co. or another public co? Can sanyone say...'insider trading?' Does Martha Stewart know about this very interesting development? ha ha ;-)
All kidding aside...after my one and only fiasco with the Mr. Clean AutoDry product, I will never use it again (even if they come up with a 'new and improved' version). I've found a much more effective, less expensive (since you don't have to keep buying filters or special soap), and much quicker car drying system in the Big Blue II super absorbant towels...they're awesome! 1 towel dries my car off completely in 4 min. with no water streaks, water spots, or swirl marks. Sorry, Mr. Clean...you'll be scratching that bald head of yours about this one for a while. ;-)

Re: Mr. Clean Is Now My Client
yes that is definitely insider information that you shouldn't be discussing anywhere...but thanks for the hint haha. still i won't buy the product cause i heard its terrible, but it'll be interesting to see if its release has any effect on the overall company...and also if you find yourself in jail with martha stewart this time next year lol..just kidding, you probably arent in that much trouble..

Re: Mr. Clean Is Now My Client
Calm down ppl. No one is going to jail for insider information or trading and none of this has any connection to what Martha did! G35Rush did not divulge any company sensitive information in his post. All he stated was that he has been assigned to work on the Mr. Clean Autodry account. I'm sure he will be a responsible corporate citizen and not share any proprietary or company sensitive information.
I sometimes do non-disclosure presentations to customers myself, and stuff like this is leaked to the press and street all the time. I can acknowledge the existence of planned products and give rough timelines, but the line is crossed when you start giving out detailed information like product specs, release dates, etc.
I use Mr. Clean Autodry and I like it. My $0.02 on possible improvements to the product to make it better or more compelling would be as follows:
-Improve flow rate on the filters so that a more powerful jet of filtered water comes out of the spray unit. As it is now, the pressure is too low and not strong enough to effectively rinse the car unless I'm waving this hulking thing at two inches off the car panels.
-Make the spray unit smaller and lighter so it is easier to handle and work with. One way to do this is to make the soap reservoir and spray optional. Frankly I don't use the soap and I just use the spray unit to rinse the car with the filtered water and I'm sure there are alot of ppl that do the same so maybe it would be beneficial to come out with a spray unit just for the filtered water.
-Make the main spray nozzle adjustable like a typical garden nozzle so I can use more concentrated streams to work over stubborn bug splats and road tar and lighter sprays to rinse.
