i am some what of a neat freak when it comes to my car. And i was very pissed when i looked at my car 2day and i saw i had swirl marks all over the truck. Damn i guess i have to get out the orbital and polisher. Do and of you know and other tricks for getting rid of them bisides buffing them out with an orbital?

All the major wax companies have swirl removers...just go down to your local shop. or you can order them online as well...kinda like with zaino.

DONT TRY SWIRL X FROM MAGUIRES, THAT CRAP HAS HARSH MATERIALS THAT WILL ACTUALLY CAUSE MORE FINE SCRATCHES. IT REMOVES LARGER SCRATCHES BY WEARING DOWN THE CLEARCOAT.

I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE, I TRIED THIS BASED ON SOMEONE'S ADVICE ON MY OTHER CAR AND I WAS PISSED. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AGAIN. IF ANYTHING, USE THE MAGUIRE'S CLAY BAR, AND A MILD POLISH, THEN FINISH WITH PURE CARNUBA WAX (LIKE MAGUIRE'S MIRROR SHINE), THEN I WOULD FINISH WITH A GLAZE. THIS IS HOW THEY DO IT AT DETAIL SHOPS

 

How about buffing it out at a detail shop? That was the advice to remove the scratches in my cleat coat?

Go here.. it has the best tips in how to clean or remove your swirlmarks. I was able to remove 90% of my swirl marks on my Mercedes E55. Keep in mind you are going to have to buy a portal cable etc etc etc

I removed virtually all my swirls with 3 coats of Zaino Z5. Including all my other coats it took me over 9 hours and $150 CAN in materials.

I got em all out it was amazing i spent about 4 1/2 hours detailing but i got em all out. the car looks amazing i was sad when i had to drive it all that work and its oging to get dirty again. But i used my orbital and i just buffed like no tommarow. then i clayed the car then plished then waxed. The car is like glass.
