Vinyl Roof Overlays (cleaning and maintaining)

Does anyone have experience with this?

I know it's black so it shows dust and what not a lot worse than my green car, but is there a way to keep the dust off? If I wash it at 2pm it's got a coating on it by 5 or 6pm.

I use a synthetic wax not a carnauba but it hasn't made much of a difference.

What do you guys use to keep it looking black?

Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm if you have it. Will make it nice and shiny, but really really black. Maybe get a california car duster for the roof, I know it's not the best I don't really see an alternative.

Also FK425 is supposed to help keep dust off but that's debatable.

I like black, Where would I find that stuff? I'm in Canada so car care products can be a bitch to get a hold of.

I have a duster that I use here and there but it just comes back so I give up.

Who makes the FK425?

There are NO products that will keep dust off your car, sorry but it's just not possible. I too have the overlay and when the car is cooled off, I just LIGHTLY dust it off with the Cali duster.

I think it's the vinyl, it picks up a charge and everything sticks. My car doesn't pick up dust half as fast as the roof

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll try what I can and let you know what works.
