Duragloss#601 bonding + Optimium sealant + machine??

I want to add the DG #101 under the Optimum sealant. But I do have some minor spiderwebbing. I've used the O Sealant with a blue Edge pad and it removed the scratches while applying the sealant.

Question is, can I add the DG #101 by hand, let it glaze and then add the O sealant and machine polish both products off at once?

My guess is that the solvents in the OS(are you talking about poliseal?) and the slight abrasive nature will strip the uncured 101 off.

Good question: But isn't the Poli-Seal a polymer sealant? I also have the Duragloss #111 and could use #101 (polish and cleaner)

To apply Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent, spread a very thin coat over your vehicle. Allow the product to haze but do not remove it. Apply the paint protection of your choice on top of the hazed PBA. Remember that PBA works with polymer sealants, such as Duragloss Clear Coat Polish #111. During the application and removal of the sealant, you will remove both products at once. We recommend using a soft, clean Cobra Indigo Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloth for the easiest buffing.
My question would be if using a machine on top of the #105 and #601 strip off the #601 mechanically. Using the poli-seal and machine doesn't strip off the sealant.

Just trying to cheat steps here. If I can't, I'll just do one more step with the blue pad + Optimum polish then do the #601+#101 or #111 by hand and live with the slight scratches. This is on my dad's black avalon. No need for a flawless finish.

I'm not following exactly. Are you applying 601+101+OPS? Or 601+OPS? OPS has abrasives and will strip anything underneath it. It should be a one step polish/sealant. It should be applied as a base to be layered on top of, but I don't think you are going to be able to apply 601 on top of it. You are better off with OP+601+101, or OPS+101, with the durability and correction advantage going to the OP+601+101 combo, but it does require one additional step

I might finish out with the blue pad+OP, then go 601+111 (or if there is still very fine scratches, might as well try the 105/101)

Although it's not specifically recommended by DG, the guys on Autopia do it. But it looks like they hand remove the 111/105. But the 105 has abrasives in it also. (actually, it says it chemcially removes scratches). So I dunno.

Okay and that means it can't be used over the 601?

Poliseal is absolutely a sealant. Are you mistaking it with OSW which does have carnauba?
Many people recommend topping OPS with 105

Well they do advertise it as a sealent/wax but in all reality it does not last very long at all.I personally love the stuff as it is absolutely awesome at what it does but i put a coat of Danase Wet Glaze over it so i can use a real sealent.

Look at the label it does say it has caranuba in it as i have a bottle staring me in the face.It clearly states that it has mineral spirits, silicone fluid and caranuba.

well, i guess i'll have to remove my foot from my mouth , just checked my bottle and it does have carnauba in it. I've always used it as a AIO on cars I detail that don't want multiple polish steps. I have topped it with Duragloss aqua wax and haven't noticed any decreased durability compared to when it tops #21 instead.
