Just thought that I would share a couple of pictures of my DG sedan that has a clear bra on it [by Transparent Bra.com] and just had an application of Crystal Guard EX [by Offshore Audio & Detailing in Long Beach, CA]. The clear bra is on the front bumper, first 1/4 of the hood, headlights, front face of the side mirrors, door edges, and trunk lid edge.

 

Looks nice & wet!!! hehe

 

Thanks... So far, I am really impressed with CG, as the car really shines! I'm also impressed with how well the clear bra disappears in most viewing conditions.

 

I've been staring at the first photo for about 10 mins and I can't see the clear bra anywhere...I feel like it would show alot more on my IP coupe...Only because the dealer installed clear bra strips by the front and rear fenders are very noticeable on my car whenever its in need of a wash...I hate it, but yours looks great...Congrats

 

Is that an infiniti logo on the back of your car? I was just lookin around and it doesn't look like it.....

 

How much did they charge you for the CG application?
I was thinking of taking mine to Final Touch for my first application. Don't want to get ripped off.

The clear bra edges basically can not be seen in the above pictures - it blends in that well. Though keep in mind that the car was completely clean when I took these pictures [right after driving home after the CG application], so that is an ideal situation for blending in.

But even before I had CG on the car, the clear bra really did disappear in most lighting conditions. I could be standing about 3' to 4' away and not see the edges [once again depending upon the lighting conditions]. I think that it also just works very well with the DG color.

I do have the stock Infiniti logo on the rear. I think that the CG is making the car shine so much that there are just odd reflections off of the logo making it look like something else.

 

A little off topic but, what % tint do you have on your G? Awesome looking G. I received my DG sedan last week and have been debating over tint levels since.

 

I have Huper Optik tint on my windows. The front driver & passenger is at 60% and the rear windows are all at 40%. I think it looks and functions great, but some will feel that it is too light.

Personally, I don't like the real dark tints [below 35%]. In CA, tint on the front windows is not allowed at all. But I still wanted something, so I chose the lightess Huper Optik percentage that I could get.
