De-Badging Answers

Well after reading many posts, there does not seem to be an answer to if the logo on the rear can be removed. I was able to remove the INFINITY and G35 badges, but when it came down to the logo, it was impossable. I used a hair dryer and dental floss. Does anyone know if the 03 coup's symbol is bolted on? Also, can the front symbol be removed from the grill?

Re: De-Badging Answers

i have an 2004.5 so this is just on my car and i dont know if its different on the 2003 or not... the front badge on the grill has 2 clips that u press together on the back (pop ur hood) and then it just comes out. The rear badge just comes off and is not bolted on..... i dont think its different for 2003... but dont want to be responsible for [censored] something up on ur car

Re: De-Badging Answers

Its not about what they get off of having a blank rear, its about their preference. If they think its nicer then its cool they have the option to take everything off. If someone like you doesn't think its nicer, then leave it on.

Don't need to hate......

Re: De-Badging Answers

the front emblem will come off like raznips said but u'll have a gap in 2 of the lines.
the rear logo shud come off. just use stronger floss or something. be careful of scratches and wax those areas after.

I just don't understand why people take off a Infiniti logo and put on a Nissan logo. You don't see people with a Lexus putting on a Toyota logo or people with Audi's putting on Volkswagon, etc. To each is own I guess...

Re: De-Badging Answers

You have a legitimate point. I would only understand if someone put an Nissan logo on the rear if they put it everywhere else on the car that has a infiniti logo. You can't have 2 logo's buddies!

People just want to make thier car as similiar to the Japanese model as possible. That can't be such a bad thing can it?

To those of you who gave constructive answers....Thanks.

To the others... I am taking the badges off for a cleaner look...period. I do not plan on adding any other type of badge. Besides, anyone who adds a Skyline badge is risking some dumb A$$ punk ripping it off and F*&%ing up the paint.
