Help cleaning wheels!

I posted the same threat in some other bulletin but it may have been the wrong one cause nobody answered... so i hope to get a better response here!

Ok so I have a problem with my wheels and I dunno what to do anymore .
My wheels have been damaged by the brakes' oil and as much as I've tried pretty much anything, I cant still get their old shine back .
They have this dark brown (specially on the front wheels) which becomes light brown when washed but never goes away! Help please!

Post up some pics so we can get a good look at your wheels first.

Pictures would help a lot. What are cleaning them with soap & water? wheel cleaners?

Chances are you've encountered some stubborn brake dust that isn't coming off with a typical wash. Depending on the finish of your wheels, you'll probably want to polish them using either a metal polish or a light polish designed for clear coats.

After you restore the finish, I'd recommend protecting your wheels with something like Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant to help make future cleanings significantly easier and to help prevent this from happening again.

If you can give us some more info on your wheels or post pictures, we can offer some better suggestions for you.
