Small paint chips and a few scratches

Owned my 2004 diamond graphite G for about a month now and it's starting to bug me that there are small nicks here and there on the front of the car (I'm assuming from rocks being kicked up from the car in front). There's also a huge scuff mark on the front right portion of the bumper from where the previous owner scratched it while parking.

I used rubbing compound on some body scratches here and there, but it didn't do anything for some of the deeper dings. Would the best thing be to buy some DG paint from the dealer, touch it up, then try to buff it out with rubbing compound?

The big scratch on the front I know is going to take some serious attention.

Anyone have tips on a cheap way to deal with these? Should I just pay to have the car detailed by a good detailer who can take care of them for me?
