My dad scratched my hood :-(

Ok so my dad offerd to wash my car after some weird "helicopter" seeds fell on the car leaving it brown stains that seemed imposible to take off. he was smart enoug to use a worn green dish washing pad to take them off. and it worked. But now the hood is well full of little scratches. They are most visible at night under light. And when you look at the car from an angle during the day.

so what im wondering is. how can i take them off. or would they come off ith a good buffing?

Thanks for any help.

green dish washing pad
oh no, that's horrible! lol

Depending on how bad it is. Some Polish or Compound can fix them, or you might need to Sand it. Another person on here detagged his car and used one of these, but it looks alot worse then yours. He needed to Sand It I think.

I have a black g35 coupe.
I had it polished and waxed at Ziebart 2 weeks ago. 3 days later I took it to a car wash station...they scratched the **** out of it... :@ :@
I'm going to Ziebart tomorrow to get it re-polished!

Take it to a good detailer. If you were around me, and the car was washed when your brought it to me, I would correct if for about $20. Should only take about 10-15 minutes to get those out if they aren't too deep.

I know a couple in NJ, and I'm in PA. Are you in Trenton? And would you just like your hood fixed, or a full detail? Let me know and I can find you a detailer by you.

are you kidding me??? 10-15 minutes???

if you would have told me 15 minutes to fix his hood, I would take it somewhere else...

Check this out...1700RPM/M105/wool pad = 3 hours on the hood alone on this AUDI (granted harder clear, but still...) The whole car took me 27 hours as it was all in this condition.

there is no way you can do that in 15 minutes...properly that is

Yea, come to think about it, I was always terrible with quoting people time wise, I always take longer than I say. Have to work on that. I'd say it would take about 45-60 minutes, as you know the IP on a G35 is relatively soft.

LOL didn't you call that one Brillo pad audi?
