i joined a group buy for 350z carbon fiber engine covers for $90 shipped.
that way i dont think the covers would trap the heat.
one question, if we take off our engine covers, do we still have to put back the screws where it was, cuz it seems like it screws on to the plenum....

Yes - you can re-use the screws and rubber grommets that are used on the stock cover. The 350Z cover uses the exact same mounting locations.

the place where the top two screws are from the g35 engine cover isn't used anymore after u install the 350z engine cover.
i know the bottom 2 screws are in the same location, but the top 2 screws for the 350z engine cover is in a different location
so did u leave the top 2 screw holes empty (the one in blue)?
