Mothers Products?
Hey all I was told that Mothers products are pretty good. However, they have a three staged system and I'm wondering if I need #1? My car is a '97 and has some oxidation but otherwise looks good. Has anyone used these products?
Re: Mothers Products?
Mother's tends to be a quality product. I have used their products and not been disappointed.

Re: Mothers Products?
I really like their stuff. I would definitely use step #1 on your car- I think its good to use it about once a year- the others more often. I did the full 3 step process on my G about a week ago- just to prepare it for the upcoming year- looked great till I pulled it out of the garage (it was raining, of course) It was worth it though, and the 1st step buffs off really easy, so it's not really much of a bother to do. Try their car wash, not overly foamy like dishsoap and smells like bubble gum!
Oh! And use their preserves protectant to make your tire sidewalls black- it's great because its not so shiny that it makes them look greasy, and doesn't come off the tires onto the rims while you drive (my dealer puts greasy stuff on the tires when I get it serviced and it sprays all over the rims and fenders while you drive, where it collects massive amounts of brake dust and dirt- Mother's doesn't do this!) Oh- and it smells like cherries- just in case you were wondering! :P

thanks for noticing . ..
i will say good things about good things.
there is no benefit for me to pick on something that can be argued down, and I have no reason to lie to anyone about another product.
there are LOTS of good and even a lot of great products out there besides what I deal in. its all a matter of what works for the individual and their car.

Re: Mothers Products?
Been using Mothers products on several cars for over 10 years. Works great IMO. I use the 3 stage application about once a yr and then the reg carnuba wax 2-3x per yr.
I recently bought the clay bar for my other 2 cars and it really brings the paint to a showroom shine. I'd recommend their products to anyone!
