Cracked wood on driver door pull
Cracked wood on driver door pull
Just noticed that my driver's door wood strip has a small crack about two-thirds from the top. Fortunately it is on the bottom side, about a half inch long. I found it by feel as it is hard to notice otherwise. I assume that is is caused by the stress of pulling the door shut combined with Texas heat.
Has anyone seen this problem. I wonder if Infiniti will warranty (the car is 9 months old, but the factory woood was added after purchase - bought if from another guy from the classifieds on this board - used but perfect).

Re: Cracked wood on driver door pull
Was that door panel ever worked on? To remove the door panels, the wood trim on it must come off..........so if someone worked on it, it's quite possible they cracked it when pulling or prying that piece off.
