They must been on like the 3rd floor or something.
Airsoft gun would be great if I was able to catch the bugger in the act, but I never do. I only see the little sh*ts scurrying out the yard when they here my exhaust as I pull in. Plus the dude that owns the yard where I park is a real stickler and very watchful, so me shooting off a airsoft gun would be problematic.
A couple of people have suggested taking, the G out the yard and parking it on the street. I totally disagree, as leaving, the G on the street on a regular basis leaves it susceptible to a far worst faith then cat scratches...
Thanks for all the insight so far, especially the rat poison, smh on that one. lol. I'm no cat killer, just want to afflict enough harm, so they discontinue using my G as their personal scratching post. Plus it would take nine doses of rat poison Lol.

Cats love the taste of antifreeze. Which is bad, because it's really bad for their health.
Just sayin... if there were a puddle near your car, that'd be bad.
In a less harmful method, use the car cover again, but get a couple laminating sheets and put them sticky-side up on the cover on your car. Cats jump up on it, get stuck for a while... after a couple times of that they'll stop.

Did a similar thing when I was in college. I took some one sided Tesa Tape and laid it out on my hood, sticky side up. They were cut into 5" x 8" sheets.
Cats would walk on them, get stuck or annoyed, lay down on the tape to try pull their paws up, and get the tape applied to their sides. I put out 5 pieces on my hood one night; all were gone the next morning.
I did it everyday for a week and then once every couple of days afterwards.
BTW: Cats walk sideways when they have something stuck to their side. My solution is both effective and entertaining. But they will come back if you stop.
Best bet is to either find a garage or kill all cats in your area. To appease the masses, you'd be better off with a garage.

Cats were always all over my car... paw prints all over the paint, sliding down the windshield, etc. I got some chili powder and tabasco sauce, mixed them together, and sprayed that all around my car. It's been a couple months and I've had zero paw prints on my car since. I've been respraying that mixture every couple of weeks.

Interesting, the great lengths we go to protects our G's. Keep your thoughts coming...
