Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger sealant followed by optimum spray wax, two coats

notice the reflection in the door of the sidewalk and the clouds all over the car

good wax and good detail job make a world of diff, my car was hideous a couple months ago

I've been happy with Meguiars NXT Spray Wax. I'm a fan of the Wash/Clay/Wash/Wax method... Sometimes I apply polish/glaze, depending on how nice the weather is

Super high priced waxes generally do NOT make a huge difference considering 90% or more of how a car looks when done detailing it comes from how the paint was prepped. Plus a $200+ carnauba wax wears off just as fast as a $40 carauba wax.
A bottle of $9 pure carnuba wax from mothers will give a good shine also. LOL.
Go ahead and spend 40+. I'll stick with the $9 crap.

I've been using Meguiar's Quick Wax to spray on my door jambs for a few weeks now. It's done a good job in that capacity. I may start using it as a booster for my Poorboy's Natty's Red that I just put on.

LOL, so true. Also, using a car duster isn't the greatest idea because it can spread around contaminants and debris, causing micro marring, swirling, and all kinds of other fun stuff. I've used tons of different sealants and carnauba based/non based waxes over the years, there may be slight differences in appearances, but definitely not different enough to justify the price of 200 bucks for 8 oz worth. But whatever floats your boat. If your car is in good shape and is clayed, it will already feel as smooth as glass at that point in the detail.

I never tried the Optima spray on wax but I do use Prima Hydro after every wash; and it works fantastic.

PS-Car looks beautiful, great job.

I apply Klasse about every 4-6 months, and wash with ONR, which gives some extra protection, and also have an acrylic spray detailer to add some more love.

Use Meguiars Quick Detailer in between waxes. When you want to wax your car you should wash your car, clay it, wax it , then wash it to remove wax residue

^ How does washing put contaminants on the paint? You are doing something wrong then.

Why not wash it at home then?

Yea I was about to say? Thats why you have contaminants, if you go to an auto car wash they recycle the water.

Kindaofast, so your saying you drive to the carwash and clay/wax there then drive home?

NO, you cannot clay a car AFTER you wax it. Claying will take the wax off, that's basic detailing 101. Also, you would NOT clay your car every time you wax it. You should also not wash your car right when you're done waxing it. You wouldn't see any professional detailer wash a car after they wax it.
