What kind of sealant? In most cases, yes that's fine.

As in Chemical Guys Jetseal? or another company?

If it's CG, then yea. I've used that on wheels and worked great!

I rarely ever buy a "wheel specific" wax or polish unless it's wheelwax, because that stuff is great!

I don't have any experience with that specific product, but if you like it for your paint then it's usually good for your wheels. That's what I've always gone by and never had any problems with fading/brake dust sticking/anything bad.

Are the wheels clear coated?

Maybe one of our pros can chime in on why they use a specific wheel sealant....

Yea you can, a sealant is what you want to use for wheels, don't wax them. Werkstats Acrylic Jett will work fine, although it's not the most durable sealant out there. Sealants on your wheels will wear faster than on paint, due to the fact that corrosive brake dust and heat will constantly be attacking it, but you should be fine if you protect them every 3-4 weeks.

Maintain the sealant with car wash soap and water rather than wheel cleaner, as the wheel cleaner will most likely strip the sealant. Don't use wax on the wheels(wheelwax is not actually wax, but a sealant), since the carnauba in wax has a lower melting point than synthetic sealants and will not last very long. And yes, it's safe for mag.
