My 2 cents

I used to wash my car once or twice a week. I was OBSESSED with keeping it clean and swirl and scratch free for about the first 3 months i had the car. I tried Tons of products mostly store products from pepboys autozone etc.

I neglected my car for about 2-3 months had it washed maybe once very poorly!!

Well im getting back into it cause summer coming around so I washed my car today and boy did it have a lot of marks and swirls and fine scratches! OB car btw so everything I mean everything shows on it!!

I used Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 and DAMN about 80% of the marks in the paint and swirls and fine scratches GONE. I am no longer a perfectionist about my paint so the other 20% that still exist does not bug me and is really not noticeable. This improved my paint alot. I do know this wax is just a filler I do not have the polisher or polishes to actually REMOVE the marks just have the wax that fills them. As long as I wax often I shouldnt really have too many problems

Just my 2 cents.

Anyone else have good reviews or any ideas for me to try something maybe even better that will WOW me store bought i can pick up at a pepboys or walmart. Ill even order something if its relatively cheap.

Also I think i read the durability of This wax is not very good at all. Any suggestions on a long lasting Wax that will have this result and bead water off it like crazy?

For a little for durability try using a paint sealant instead of a wax.

wax go over the sealant. They are usually at walmart or pepboys. Try looking for them.

Try Zaino Z5. Long lasting polish that will fill minor swirls. I'd top that off with Zaino CS for protection that will last for up to 6 months. You could also look at a glaze of some sort.

Well worth it. Maybe their best product is the leather in a bottle. Sh*t is addictive it smells so good.

On my last Z I used Zymol liquid wax applied with cotton applicators and wiped off with micro rags. I only waxed my Z every 90 days and it always looked great, using a car cover when at work helped too. Zymol is available at most autoparts stores for $16 and I still keep a bottle for a quick fix....
