residue

My garage is a habitat for gekos and they like to leave their droppings on the hood of my G. The color is dark blue and the poop is very aggressive as far as leaving spots behind. I first use a detailing spray to remove the stuff, then clay bar the spots. The spots still can be easily seen. I have tried Maguire's swirl remover and paint cleaner but nothing works. Any ideas as to how to remove the spots?

Try something with more bite, the Megs Item your using its very light cut. Go to the store and buy some Ultimate Compound and try it on a spot. Put some elbow grease into it.

step one: catch the geko's send em to Canada cause I've never seen one here before.

step two: get a detailer to do it or do a real good job claybaring with detail spray. I use zaino and when i have tougher stuff I use there carwash soap as a lubricant instead of regular z6 (essentially detailer spray). Thats what they suggest using generally speaking anyways since its cheaper. Having used both, soap definetly works better, cuts through and really lifts the dirt so i only have to slide the clay bar over a few times. Generally I use the suggested amount of soap/ratio as suggested in a spray bottle, then i spray a couple squirts of detailer spray in there as well, not sure if it helps, but why not right?

But seriously, take care of the first problem, because otherwise your going to have a nice looking paint and the next day you'll be back to square one.

Try to get rid of the Geko first. Than use something like Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, followed by a finishing glaze and a paint sealant. You can top it off with a Colinite wax thats pretty much indestructible. So if the problem cones again, it should clean right off.
