Talking First experience with MicroFiber....

I turned 51 2 weeks ago and we bought our first G35 just a few days after. I have a friend who owns his own paint and body-shop. Today I used his account and picked up a Meguiars Water Magnet and Supreme shine towel.....OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!

You have to remember that I grew up watching my dad dry his cars with old bath towels and when they can out real leather chamoius....I actually found useing the Micro-fiber towels fun!!!!! It made drying less of a choir and removing wax ( I use Mothers Carnuba- Paste) really easy and clean...

So thanks to all of you for helping me understand that the old way isnt always the best...

He uses Farecla for all his polishing, and once he gets time the coupe (mine is IP ) is going in for a going over..

Just wanted to share that with other newbies !!!!!!!!

Score one for the older members. I'm 47 and have learned so much about all things G on this site as well. Did my first total detail ever on a car in March. Clay bar, Zaino system, Buffer, and finally Collonite 845 wax. The car looks better than new and it's an 05 with 70K miles.
