Grill Fading

I painted my grill a black gloss a couple of Months ago and now it looks like its fading and not glossy anymore. Could this be oxydation? bad paint job? or the head from the engine? i tried calling the shop again but the painter isnt there anymore and the painters work independantly there so i might have to get it repainted. I dont have pictures at this moment but will put them up when i get the chance. Does anyone know what i could do to restore to original form cause its not gloss at all.

i would not waste your time on having a professional paint a stock grill. that just sounds like a waste of money. just go to a paint store and get a can of gloss black and a can of clear and redo it yourself
