Yellow Stain in Clearance Strip

For some reason, one side of my clearance strip is clear and the other side is like stained yellow inside. Any explanation for this? Any fix? Anyone have the same problem? Please help thanks.

i have the same problem on my 05 coupe. My guess would be that its oxidation on the inside.

Are you 100% sure it's on the inside? A picture would help a lot.

My guess is the seal is broken on the one headlight, but I really don't know what it could be. Sounds like your going to need to bake your headlights, crack'em open and polish the inside and then properly re-seal them. Might as well paint them while your at it.

Also one more thought, do you have anything custom with the headlight? Maybe it's too much heat on the inside or something.

i have aftermarket hids on that side, but thats only on the low beam not the clearance strip. I'll get pictures tomorrow when the sun is out.

you think painting them black looks much nicer than the way they are now?
