Re: CrystalGuard ??

It can be applied as often as you want, but at least every 6 months. It lasts quite a while, especially with multiple coats. If you put a coat on every weekend for 2-3 weeks, you'll be good for the next few months. No need to wax, however I throw some gloss on every time I wash it just to keep the top coat shiny- 5 minutes, tops.

Re: CrystalGuard ??

Use any car wash soap, pretty much. Just make sure it's one that doesn't strip wax, etc. Better safe than sorry.

Re: CrystalGuard ??

and one that doesnt have wax in it... some carwash soaps say that they "strengthen" your car's wax but basically there is probably a wax additive in the soap.... dont get that kind

Re: CrystalGuard ??

Yes-- forgot about that. Rambo's right on. The last thing you want to do before you apply CG is put a cheap, crappy layer of wax on it.

Re: CrystalGuard ??

Nope, but it protects against them very well. If you've got swirls, remove them with a random orbital buffer (or have it professionally done), then start a strict CG regimen. It'll make your car look amazing for years to come. Instead of covering up a prob with makeup, you fix it legitimately.
