The finish with CrystalGuard feels very slippery. I noticed the next morning that some water had run down the passenger window, and all the way down the door. The trail wiped off very easily with just a clean microfiber towel. When I got home, I saw some bug guts over the door, and they too came off with the using the towel. We had a light sprinkling of rain also, and though my windshield looked very nasty afterwords, the body of the car still looked great.

I have used CG Quick on my silver and the results are unbelievable. I've used just about every type of wax and sealant under the sun and there is really nothing like CG. The *extreme* ease of use is what really gets me. A simple car wash and 10 minute application/removal of CG gets my silver really glowing without spending a couple hours buffing. WOW! It is just beautiful. It's not like bling bling shine like metal with lots of flare (or it's because the sun is not that bright today), it's more of a deep shine. It looks like a thick layer of class on the paint.

I noticed that the shine is much more glasslike in appearance, and yet, still brings out the richness of the the Redline color. Better yet, no white residue in between crevices/panels!
I couldn't imagine how simple this product was!

Hey,

Does anyone know how long you should wait before you apply something like this when you buy a new car?

I just bought my G35 coupe 3 days ago, and I don't want to do something like this without waiting for the paint to totally dry (I have heard that it can take up to 6 months), as to avoid scratching the paint (even when washing). Please advise.

You can apply it ....or any other wax or sealant now. The paint is baked on at the factory and therefore cured. The long curing process is only if you have the car repainted, repaired, etc. when they do not bake on the finish.

Not impressed so far, with the purchase process that is. I tried to buy the product on-line and got an error message that no shipping method was available. The website gives no where to input a shipping method. Finally gave up and noticed that you can now order by phone was plastered across the top of their website. So I called the number, no answer, no answering machine, no nothing. Mhhhmmmm could this be a fly by night?

 

heh hang in there dude, well i know Tako was out of town, i sent them a question and they replied within 2 days, even though he is out of town!
So far im pleased with the results of the product, its just so dam expensive for so little solution.
