Wheel cleaning tips??

NE1 have any good tips for cleaning the inside part of the wheel.
Reaching through the spokes is a major pain.

I'm considering changing to a supermesh design wheel, but that would make cleaning even harder.

My other thought was to have the inner rim black powder coated
so that it wasn't as noticeable.

Any input appreciated

Re: Wheel cleaning tips??

...OR you can just order some of the wheel cleaning supplies from Griot's garage or something like that. They have some sponges on a stick, etc that can help aid in the cleaning of the rims. Just be careful and be gentle, rinse often to make sure not dirt, rocks, etc stick to the cleaning tool.

Or you can just follow the above response and take it off every month or so and clean them. Get a hydraulic lift, and you can have the rims off/on and cleaned in less than 15min if you're quick....

Re: Wheel cleaning tips??

I have a detail brush, very similar to the one in the upper left corner on this page, works really good for cleaning the "insides" of the factory wheels!
