Detailer's Domain: Alpine White BMW M3 - Complete Detail

This was a pretty extensive detail on this M3, unfortunately not the best example being Alpine White.
Take a look at the complete write up.

Interior was in pretty good shape, exterior/wheels/wheel wells/engine needed some work.

Big thanks to the crew that came by to help out Alvin, Joe, and Dan!

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Adam's VRT
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Engine Cleaned and Dressed

Interior
- Sonax Dashboard Cleaner
- Einszett Leather Care
- Einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner

Woah, you even took off the wheels to clean them & the breaks.

Do you have any horror stories? Like right after cleaning a car for 8 hours, the owner wrecked it or something? Just curious.

yes actually I have one.

we did a 20 plus hour paint correction on a 1997 911 Turbo with 6k miles on it, the next week the customer got hit from a side swipe.

the car was totaled.

I just placed an order with AutoGeek. I went with some of the products listed above like

-Sonax
-Cobra
-Wolfgang
-P21S
and Mothers..

so lets see how this turns out.. not callin myself a Pro but i do enjoy puttin in work on my rides..

Awesome job. Looks really slick haha. Liked how you posted links to all the products that you used. Definitely makes searching for them way easier lol.


Not really too confident with using a rotary buffer and wouldn't want to damage the paint so could I use an orbital instead? If that would be alright then what would you recommend for someone on a budget?

Phil what would you recommend for getting my exhaust tips nice and clean and shiny? They seem to be lacking haha oh and a car wash too please!
