best polisher

Hey guys I need to buy a polisher or buffer for my car and was wondering what would be my best choice for a beginners model. I've been applying wax's by hand for some time now and even though its grueling work I didnt really mind, but now I kind of grew out of that and having been in a relationship for a while now I dont have that type of arm dexterity anymore , so what do you guys recommend for a nice model, or what should I look for when buying one?

I love my Flex 3401 but its not cheap.I would probably go with the Griots due to cost.

I've got a Porter Cable, but don't like it that much. Too much vibration due to its design. I think I'll get an orbital buffer next.

Great choice Toymachine, I love mine, make sure you wash the pads when you're finished. I can't use their finish wax cause it isn't compatible with my Zymol concourse so I just use the cleaner #3 after I clay. Results are amazingly picture perfect....

What's proper way to wash pads? Just let them soak in a bucket of water?

I just add water to a 1-2 gallon bucket then Meguiars APC (all purpose cleaner) and soak them overnight. In the morning or when I have time the next day, I rinse them out in my kitchen faucet and squeeze all the water out and let them dry.

Yea, you could soak them overnight but my method of cleaning is Dawn detergent and hot water in the kitchen sink. Takes all of 5 minutes to clean/rinse several times and then I let them dry in an open bag on my work bench. All you need to do is wash the wax out, Dawn does the job without getting nuckingfuts with other methods....
