Well UPS just delivered my large bottle of Crystal Gaurd today and when I openned the box, I must say I was a little surprised. The large is, how can I say? Not that large!!! I spent some time trying to figure out where the real bottle went and how this tiny sample ended up in my box instead. Honestly I can't believe the large size is less then 7oz, but hey all the more reason to advocate reading online purchases completely. Is this stuff really worth $39 (well actually $47 when shipping was added) and does it last for 6-10 vehicles like the site said? I'll be surprised if I get two out of it. So far, very disappointed.

 

I got 6 coats out of my bottle. A little of that stuff actually does go a long way. My initial reaction was the same as yours though.

That sounds about right according to other feedback I've had on this product.

As an alternative you can get an entire Zaino starter kit (Z1, Z2, Z6) for quite a bit cheaper and will last many times longer (about 15 coats on my C5 coupe). Then you only need to replace the polish (Z2) which runs $12.95, the helper products (Z1 and Z6) outlast the polish several times over. IMO this is the best stuff on the market, and very reasonably priced.

I've seen people work magic with Zaino. It is much more labor intensive than CG though, and I'm lazy. ;-)

My "small" CG bottle lasted me more than 10 applications... Be conservative (read: smart) in your application, instead of too liberal. Just make sure you apply it carefully and don't just spray 15 spurts per body panel.

Cool thanks for the feedback. Just out of curiosity, where can I get Zaino?? I live down here in Florida and have never heard of the stuff (at first I thought you were talking about the new eagle one stuff, but thats Nano). Sounds like some good stuff and I'd love to give it a try. That is of course after I go through my Crystal Gaurd, which looks like it won't take too long!! I used the stuff yesterday and so far my G looks pretty damn good. How long it will last and was it worth the grand total of nearly $48 are the real questions though.
