White stian from water drip.

So I just noticed that there are some hard white stains on my car! Due to water dripping from the ceiling. I think it just happened over night. Nehow I can't seem to get it off! I'm not even sure what it is. I can clean the chrome piece with my finger nail but dont' want to scratch. The circled part (sorry not sure what it's called. A pillar?) is dull. Did it just ruin my paint? Any suggestions on what I can do to make my car shiny again? I've already tried soap on a microfiber towel but it's not doing much. = ( Thanks in advance..

use a cleaner wax on the paint portion then wax the entire part. On the chrome use fine steel wool, but be sure that it is the FINE STEEL WOOL, if you don't you will scratch the chrome. When you use the FINE STEEL WOOL do not press too hard just rub it and that stain will go away.

I think it's a low chance that it is permanently damaged. Try going to a detail shop or asking a detailing forum to see what they think of it. Then order some detailing supplies.

I think someone here at Detailed Image has a bunch of stuff. I'm about to order stuff from them soon. =)

I'm sure it's nothing a little rubbing compound/polish with a foam applicator couldn't take out. Before you do that, though, be sure to properly wash the surface.

Been bz with the holidays and didn't get a chance to update. The auto detail shop offered to clean it for 40 bux. Or charge $10 more on top of their regular Detailing price so I opted for the latter since I needed a detail job.

Luckily all the stains came off! phew.. and my G is back to being shiny again...
