How do I get rid of the crud?

I've got a black sedan and never seeem to be able to get rid of the little specs of crud on my front bumper and hood. I assume most of this build up is bugs, etc. but it never seems to come off...despite my regular cleanings. Do you guys think this is something that can be removed with some type of glaze or solvent or am I due for an all out waxing, etc.? I don't mind spending time on my car, but I'm not sure I'm up for a 10 step process. Can you guys suggest an easier process for waxing, glazing, etc.?

Thanks,

Dan

I would suggest using a clay bar. Make sure you wash the car thoroughly before using it and apply at least one coat of wax after as the bar will strip everything off. It will get rid of bugs, tar, bird poop...etc.

Re: How do I get rid of the crud?

alright
1. Wash it
2. polish it
3. Clay it
4. Wax it
then it should come off real easy every time after u do that.
Note it will take u llike 5 hours to do all that if u wanna do it right.

Reverse step 2 and 3. Clay is used to remove junk from the paint so you don't grind them into the paint when you polish it...
