small dent removal

I really want to paint my roof gloss black or apply a gloss black overlay. but, I have a small quarter size dent to the right of the antenna (looking from the back of the car forward) and above the rear passenger door. Its pretty deep so it does not look like something that can be popped out. Its been there since the first year I owned the car (07) believe it or not it was an acorn that did it! I was looking for some advice to get it out or conceal it for my new roof. I don't think it would be wise to invest money in something only to not do it correctly! Thanks.

Look up PDR (paintless dent repair) in your area. It's usually pretty cheap (compared to bodyshop repair) and can often look good as new as long as the dent isn't too bad.

I just dont think they will be able to pop it out.. unless they remove the headliner which is a PITA! well if they are doing that anyway, I might as well replace the shark fin with a black one.. anyone know where I can get one? lol

They may not need to remove the headliner. They just need to be able to access the dent with the long metal rod that they use. It might be accessible through the sun roof. They don't "pop" the dent out...they "massage" it out using the rod.

A pic of the dent would help.
