Definitely use a pH neutral wheel cleaner like the P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner, Chemical Guys Diablo Gel Rim and Wheel Cleaner (best overall value) or the Sonax product. All three are very safe and easy to use on any type of wheel. I list the CG Diablo as the best value because it can be used at 6:1 (water:cleaner) if desired. I personally use it 3:1 so you get 64 ounces from one 16oz bottle. The Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner also works great and we just got it in stock today. We'll have it up on our site for sale in a couple of hours. As usual you can save 10% off with the 10offg37 coupon code. Take care!

No i doubt it I think it's dirt build up over time but where it is it's kinda hard to clean.

I first clean them with a wheel cleaner like I listed above. What remains should be cleaned with a metal polish. The P21S Finish Restorer is probably the deepest cleaning metal polish we offer. It helps remove brake dust, water marks and other stains. Take your time working it in with a soft cloth or app. If you have any other questions please let me know.
Is there something wrong with the price on the page if the p21s finish restorer it says regular price 10.99 and it's scratch out and then under it it says sale price 49.99 save -$39.00 I don't understand that can you check cuz I seen the sane product on other pages for like $11.thanks
All I've ever used on my wheels is Zymol auto soap and high pressure hose. Since I had the clear coat removed from my Volks I use Mothers metal polish and then Adams blue for the final finish. One thing all these professional detailers didn't mention...."Never clean your wheels when they're hot!"

I have the same wheels as you and just as Detailed Image suggested I use P21 Gel wheel cleaner and sometimes Sonax Full effect I believe it turns purple to let you know is time to take it off, once it comes in contact with iron particles so you should be fine. I don't let them sit for too long maybe 10 min tops yea I know they are PH neutral, but I'm still a bit paranoid
, I prefer P21 Gel wheel cleaner over Sonax, I just don't like the smell Sonax gives LOL.

Is this safe on Volks?
