I had a Gialla grill painted and it ran 150. And that was with a friends referral who owns a local speed shop. A lot of the costs are just to order mix and blend the paint... sometimes the size of the piece is the last factor. Just my .02

nooo way man. I got my stock grille painted flat black for CHEEEEEEEEAP. the dude said $150... I was like damn I cant do it for that much, I dont have that much money for a stupid paint job for something so small. HE thought about it and said "Ok, $100" I was like omg man still thats high. I cant do it for that much I dont have that much money. He stopped and thought again... "$75!" I looked at him and said, u swear u know its not gonna take that much work and time. All I got is $50 cause thats how much I think is a fair price to paint my grille. He stopped and thought again, "Fine, 50!" hahaha I was :-D. It came out realllly nice.Im happy

In my experience, cheap bodywork is exactly that. If you figure flat sanding, painting, clearcoat, color sanding, and the experience of the guy doing the bodywork; always expect to pay alot for any body work if you actually want it to turn out right. Just a quick frame of reference, the show winning cars at the concours d' elegance have anywhere from a $10,000 - $20,000 paintjob!

I own a body shop. I' ve been fixing cars for 10 years. A lot of the paint price is color. For example last month I paid 72.96 for a pint of strawberry red (dodge neon). Last week I paid 59.56 for a quart of twillight blue ( g35 sedan ) red colors seem to be the highest with black the cheapest. The color is for your basecoat the n there is a large variety of clear coats body shops can use. som clears peel, some rock chip. whoever you get to paint your G make sure its a base clear system or it WILL eventually fade.
