Any old application pad can work to apply the sealant. Most waxes come with an application pad so you should be fine there.

When i get a free afternoon, i'm going to do a dawn car wash, a quick pass with M205 on a black pad, then add a coat of sealant and let it sit for 24 hours. Then follow it up with a couple consecutive coats of wax.
