In case someone wants to know:

Being very in-love with my new black G, I decided to try to keep it looking good. Heard a lot of great things about Zaino and Klasse, but wanted to use something else for comparison.

So I ordered the Griots Garage basic wash and wax kit. Here is my impression of the products.

1. Car wash - very good, very slippery, rinses well, and doesn't strip off the shine.

2. Clay bar - very easy to use (with Meguiars QD or Griots Speed Shine). My 2002 Lexus must have been at the dealership for a long time before we bought it because the paint was full of contaminants. Felt like fine grit sandpaper. After claying the paint, it was as smooth as glass.

3. Wax - Very easy to use, but I put a little bit too much on. Their directions do tell you to use very sparingly as a little goes a long way. So I had to use speed shine to help my remove the haze. But the wax job was also very good.

Haven't used anything else yet, but will post results. I know this is too glowing, but I was impressed.

I too have been hooked on Griot's products for the last 5 years. Great stuff in my opinion. Been using it on my 7 year old black Cobra, and now the black G35. It made the G look way better than it did when delivered!
