Save your money, buy tried and tested products: http://www.autodetailingsolutions.ne...k-special.html and get a 5" backing plate. Get 3 Yellow, 2 Green, 1 Blue for cutting, polishing and finishing.

Over 6" pads are a tad big on the pc and work less effectively.

I would not recommend using 6 inch pads with the PC because it does not have that much power in the first place and you're making it work harder with bigger pads. Try to stick with 5.5 inch ones because they will offer you better correction power.

I prefer to use these pads as well:

Many people recommend newbe's use 6.5" pads on 5.5" backing plates. You will get plenty of correction with those pads on a new PC. When you get better / more comfortable, step down to 5.5" or even 4" pads, but no reason you can't start with 6.5".
I am however saying 6.5" (meaning Lake Country or Meguiar's, as advised, from Autogeek for example), not necessarily this 6" kit from ebay, because I have never heard of these pads or seen them work...
Good luck- show some detailing pics when you get everything
