Prepping / painting new parts
Eh guys.
Recently ordered a set of new splash guards- OEM... nothing fancy. To make a long story short I've had them painted at a paint shop and just about all of them are suffering some massive paint peeling problems. It seems that whatever "preservatives" are applied to the parts to help with their otherwise unprotected longevity are very resistant to paints.
Or the guy doing the painting doesn't know what he's doing.
Anyone else have some familiarity with any "tips" necessary to paint Nissan parts? Apparently this is not the first time said paint shop has had problems. Can anyone give me information I might be able to send to this guy to set him straight?
Thanks in advance...

He is standing behind his work so I'm taking it easy on him- he's already redone one and in that time a couple others started to peel as well. I guess I'll just have to hope that they get it squared away.
