what to do about chips in paint?

i've got an 05 IP sedan and have a few small chips here and there. not just in the bumper but, also one in the hood, one on roof, and one on trunk. they aren't really big but, they are noticeable. i just wanna do something so they're less noticable. i was thinking of getting the IP paint pen and putting a bit in the chip. other than that i don't know what else to do. i don't want the car to start rusting and causing the paint around the chip to become weak and brittle. the chip will only get bigger if i don't do something. what else can i do?
