Getting Cigarette stains out of the plastic interior.

I just picked up a used 05 G35X and I'm loving it, When I bought the car, the dealer told me it was owned by a little old lady who took very good care of it. (Seriously, that's exactly what he said). After getting it checked out, it turns out Grandma did take good care of it. With one exception, she used the ashtray and left some smoke stains on the nearby plastic.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get these out?

actually that may not be from smoking at all. If you search around here there's several threads about people getting that piece replaced under warranty. Something about an adhesive plastic used to protect the finish causing a discoloration over time. I have a 06 that has very very little yellowing and no one has ever smoked in my car.

if that fails above maybe try rubbing alcohol first then more aggressive like fingernail polish or bleach but do so at your own risk

Yup, same thing is happening to mine. It's not cigarette smoke.

Why is my interior turning brown...???
