California Car Duster
This may be old news to a lot of you....but I had never owned one until a bud gave me one this Christmas.
This thing is a must have!!!! It really works great.
My buddy has been using one on his black Porche for the past few years and has virtually no swirl marks.
It cuts down on the number of time you have to wash and dry.
I highly recommend you try one.

Yes it is a really good product, saves alot of time and you may as well say it is a bit better for the enviorment cause you would normally be wasting a bunch of water, cleaning what constitutes as just dust on the car.
There is a new duster out called OXO and it seems to be a bit better of a product from wat I have seen but have yet to use it. It has a rubber handle which of course won't have the abiltity to scratch your car and the hairs seem to be a bit longer.

Just make sure you let the duster ride lightly over the dust (hold it above the surface)! Don't rub, and never use it to remove dust that's gotten wet!(Don't ask. It was an older car years ago.

Another recommendation is to ensure the duster is properly prepared...
Last summer, I had a new duster in my trunk and at the end of a summer day I decided to dust my car off before driving it home. Since my car is a dark color (TB) the surface was still very hot and I'm sure the inside of the trunk was even hotter. The hot surface of my car and the softened wax on the duster didn't get along too well so it left a lot of streaks on the car. Also, it seemed to "cloud" my clearbra. I had to strip off the excess wax using Dawn and everything was fine after that.
Just make sure you follow the instructions and allow the Duster to sit in the sun and let the excess wax get absorbed by a newspaper or some cardboard before use...

So after reading this thread, I decided to go try it again when the car was COLD and it did an awesome job.

Live and Learn. Thanks guys.

Ditto, CC duster is great!!
Got it for only $10 at walmart.
Best thing for cleaning my black G35. Now if it does not rain I can even go upto 3 weeks without washing, if I dust my G twice a week. I am in NorCal.

Yeah, I just picked up the CC duster at walmart for $10 as well. Pepboys has it as well, for $10. There also a bigger version of the CC duster, which a lil more. I just tried it today and it works really good. You just have to hope that your car is dirty cause of dust only, otherwise, those other stuff like bugs will still stick on until you could wash your car.
For the dusters, I have been using them for ~10 yrs. They are great. Yet as others have said, the car must be cool!
And I agree...Original California Water Blade is a must for drying off the car after you wash it. Do not get imitations! I had a CWB and lost it. Then replaced it w/ a imitation and promptly retuned it to Target because it failed in comparison. I just ordered two more Original CWBs yesterday. Well worth the $
