Removing Lubricant/Grease Use to Mount Tires

What is the best way to remove the lubricant/grease use to mount tires from the tire sidewall? The stuff is a tan color and wont come off.

My tire shop just uses soap to mount tires, regardless you should be able to get what ever they're using off with a little dish detergent like dawn. Once dry apply Meguiar's tire gell so they will keep their shine for months....Gary
