I took SLICK to the Dealership for the airbag recall, when I got her home I noticed dirty hand prints just above the drivers door. I took an old towel and the smallest amount of rug shampoo and carefully wiped removing the prints. You'll need to be careful with the headliner it's fragile....Gary

I use this cleaner called Refreshed when I clean any type of cloth in my car. I picked this up at the swap meet last summer to clean my shoes, but it works wonders on car interiors as well. All you do is put a little bit on a piece of foam and lightly scrub. No water necessary and it works like a charm! DO NOT USE THE PICTURED BRUSH ON YOUR HEADLINER!

Most foaming cleaners will work. Apply to the towel and rub, rather than directly to the headliner.

Just an all purpose carpet shampoo will work however, don't use anything harsh that will deteriorate the fibers of the fabric.
